Tesla Model Y Launches in India With Two Battery Options
Tesla has finally launched the Model Y in India. This marks the company’s official entry into the Indian EV market.
The Standard Range rear-wheel drive version is priced at ₹59.89 lakh. The Long Range version costs ₹8 lakh more.
Tesla also offers the Full Self-Driving option. This adds ₹6 lakh to the price of either variant.
There are two battery options. The Standard Range has a 62 kWh battery. The Long Range comes with an 84 kWh battery.
These two models can be identified easily. Each version has different badging on the back of the vehicle.
Tesla has also added new design touches. One unique feature is the taillight glow. At night, the rear light shines on the road.This adds a stylish and futuristic look. It also improves visibility for nearby vehicles.Inside the cabin, Tesla keeps things clean and modern. The front seats come with cooling options.
