NAIMA 2026 Makes the Affordable EV Segment More Competitive
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 has significantly expanded the choices available to Nepali EV buyers.
The arrival of the Chery Q and Arcfox T1, alongside models such as the BYD Atto 1, Dongfeng Nammi 01 and Tata Punch EV, has made the Rs. 30–35 lakh segment considerably more competitive.
More importantly, buyers no longer have to choose between price and features. These five EVs offer different combinations of battery capacity, range, performance, technology and SUV practicality.
However, buyers should always confirm the latest showroom price and exact Nepal-market specifications before booking, as promotional and expo pricing can change after an event.
For now, the Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 35 lakh EV segment is shaping up to be one of the most interesting parts of Nepal’s electric-car market in 2026.
