Agni Incorporated Private Limited, the official importer of Mahindra cars in Nepal, will bring this EV to our roads. Previously seen as the XUV400, the XEV 9e is an all-electric crossover–coupé that combines style, performance, and advanced technology.

The XEV 9e debuted at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo. Prices start at NPR 69 lakh, with top trims exceeding NPR 100 lakh. Buyers can choose from three trims—Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three—each designed to meet different needs.
Battery, Range, and Charging Options
The XEV 9e uses Mahindra’s INGLO platform and comes with 59 kWh or 79 kWh LFP batteries. It offers a range between 542 km and 656 km (MIDC cycle). For convenience, the EV supports AC charging at 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW and DC fast charging up to 175 kW, reaching 20–80% charge in 20 minutes.
Interior and Technology Features
Inside, the XEV 9e impresses with three 12.3-inch displays, wireless smartphone integration, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. Over-the-air updates keep the system current with new features.
Safety and Driving Experience
Safety is a priority. The XEV 9e has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, seven airbags, and Level 2+ ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and emergency braking. The high-spec Nepal variant delivers up to 199 kW, ensuring a thrilling yet secure ride.
