Electric Driving With Petrol Flexibility

One of the biggest advantages of a PHEV is its dual-powertrain setup. The HS PHEV can use its electric motor for daily journeys. Meanwhile, the petrol engine provides additional flexibility on longer drives.

The 24.7 kWh battery supports an official WLTP electric range of 75 miles, or roughly 121 km. However, real-world range can vary with driving conditions, temperature and charging habits.

Furthermore, owners can recharge the battery through the vehicle’s Type 2 charging connection. This gives drivers more control over how they use the electric power during everyday travel.

Premium Interior and Technology

The MG HS PHEV focuses on comfort as well as efficiency. Inside, it features a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.

In addition, the SUV supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes wireless phone charging and an eight-speaker audio system. A panoramic sunroof adds to the cabin experience.

The front seats also offer heating with three levels. The driver’s seat provides six-way electric adjustment and three memory settings. Therefore, the HS PHEV offers a strong mix of convenience and everyday practicality.

Advanced Safety and MG Pilot

MG equips the HS PHEV with a wide range of driver-assistance features. The MG Pilot system includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist.

It also includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. Furthermore, the SUV gets Front Cross Traffic Alert, Driver Monitoring and Intelligent Cruise Assist.

The safety package also includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Program and Hill Start Assist. A 360-degree HD camera with a transparent-chassis view helps drivers during parking and tight manoeuvres.
