August 10, 2026 | 05 mins
Hero MotoCorp’s dedicated electric mobility brand VIDA has officially entered Nepal with the launch of the VIDA VX2 electric scooter. CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Hero MotoCorp in Nepal, introduced the new electric scooter on July 27, 2026.
The VIDA VX2 comes in two variants, VX2 Go and VX2 Plus, giving buyers different options based on their budget and range requirements. Moreover, both variants feature a removable battery system and support fast charging, making them practical for everyday urban mobility.
The Removable Battery Advantage
One of the defining features of the VIDA VX2 is its removable battery system. Instead of relying entirely on a fixed charging point, riders can remove the battery and charge it separately.
This setup can be particularly useful for apartment residents and urban riders who may not have access to a dedicated charging socket near their parking space. Furthermore, the scooter supports fast charging, allowing the battery to reach 80% charge in around 65 minutes.

Smart Features and Everyday Ride Dynamics
The VIDA VX2 combines practical electric mobility with modern scooter technology. Additionally, its removable battery makes charging more flexible than many conventional fixed-battery electric scooters.
Removable Battery
The battery can be removed from the scooter and charged separately. This gives riders more flexibility, especially when home or workplace charging infrastructure is limited.
Fast Charging
Both variants support 0–80% charging in approximately 65 minutes. Therefore, riders can spend less time waiting for the scooter to recharge.
Two Variants
VIDA offers the VX2 in two configurations. The VX2 Go focuses on affordability and urban commuting, while the VX2 Plus provides a significantly longer range for riders who travel farther.
Longer-Range VX2 Plus
The VX2 Plus delivers up to 140 km of real-world range, making it the more suitable option for riders who want fewer charging stops during their daily journeys.
VIDA VX2 Price in Nepal
CG Motors has launched the VIDA VX2 in Nepal in two variants. The VIDA VX2 Go costs Rs. 2,99,900, while the VIDA VX2 Plus is priced at Rs. 3,99,900.

With its two variants, removable battery technology, fast charging and up to 140 km of real-world range, the VIDA VX2 adds another strong option to Nepal’s increasingly competitive electric scooter segment.
