Nepal’s premium electric pickup segment has gained a new contender with the official launch of the MAXUS eTerron 9 Comfort. Himalaya Motrox Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of MAXUS vehicles in Nepal, has introduced the new Comfort variant at an introductory price of Rs. 88 lakh for the first 50 customers. Meanwhile, the flagship eTerron 9 Premium continues to retail at Rs. 1.28 crore.

The new Comfort variant retains the impressive performance and capability of the flagship model while making the premium electric pickup more accessible to Nepali buyers. Moreover, the eTerron 9 combines rugged off-road capability, long driving range, and advanced technology, making it suitable for both commercial use and outdoor adventures. As a result, it stands out as one of Nepal’s most capable all-electric pickups.


Powerful Dual-Motor Performance with Long Driving Range

The MAXUS eTerron 9 Comfort uses a 102.2 kWh lithium battery pack paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Together, the motors produce 325 kW (442 PS) and 700 Nm of torque, allowing the pickup to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Furthermore, the battery delivers a claimed 560 km driving range (NEDC) on a single charge.

The pickup also supports 115 kW DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 42 minutes. Therefore, drivers can spend less time charging and more time on the road.
