Honda QC3 Electric Scooter Launched With 145 km Range and 3 kWh Battery
Honda has launched its new QC3 electric scooter in India with a 3 kWh battery, claimed 145 km IDC range, connected features and 32-litre under-seat storage.
Honda has expanded its electric scooter lineup in India with the launch of the Honda QC3. The new electric scooter is designed for everyday urban and family use, combining a larger battery, longer claimed range and practical storage.
The Honda QC3 has been launched at INR 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It initially goes on sale in five Indian cities, while Honda plans a phased expansion to more locations.
For Nepal, Honda has not yet confirmed an official launch date, distributor or price for the QC3.
Honda QC3 Gets a 3 kWh Battery
The biggest highlight of the new Honda QC3 is its 3 kWh fixed lithium-ion battery.
Honda claims the scooter can deliver up to 145 km of IDC range on a single charge. This gives the QC3 a longer claimed range than Honda’s smaller QC1 electric scooter.
The battery supports charging from 0 to 80 percent in around 2 hours and 40 minutes. A full charge takes approximately four hours.
Honda has not disclosed the QC3’s motor output and top-speed figures at the time of launch.

Practical Design for Everyday Riding
Honda has positioned the QC3 as a family-focused electric scooter. The design follows a practical scooter layout with a flat footboard and a single-piece seat.
The scooter also gets a 32-litre under-seat storage compartment. This is useful for carrying everyday items such as helmets, bags and shopping supplies.
For suspension, the QC3 uses a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking hardware includes a front disc and rear drum setup.
5-Inch TFT Display With Honda RoadSync
The Honda QC3 also brings connected technology to the segment.
It features a 5-inch TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync connectivity. The system supports connected functions and turn-by-turn navigation.

Honda has launched the QC3 at INR 1.35 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi.
Bookings have opened with a INR 5,000 booking amount, while the initial rollout covers selected Honda RedWing dealerships in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam.
Honda plans to expand availability in phases.
Honda QC3 Price in Nepal
There is currently no official Honda QC3 price for Nepal.
Honda has also not confirmed a Nepal launch or local availability. Therefore, any Nepal price circulating online should be treated as an estimate until an official distributor announces the scooter.
For reference, the Indian launch price of INR 1.35 lakh is roughly equivalent to around NPR 2.16 lakh at a simple INR-to-NPR conversion. However, the actual Nepal price could be considerably different after taxes, duties, logistics, distributor margins and other local costs.
Honda QC3 vs Honda QC1
The QC3 sits above the QC1 in Honda’s Indian electric scooter lineup.
The new model uses a 3 kWh battery, compared with the QC1’s 1.5 kWh battery. It also offers a claimed 145 km IDC range, while the QC1 is rated for a lower claimed range. The QC3 additionally brings a larger 32-litre storage compartment and a TFT display with connected features.
This makes the QC3 more focused on buyers looking for additional range and everyday practicality.
Honda QC3 Rivals
Once available in the market, the Honda QC3 will compete in India’s family electric scooter segment with models such as the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Vida V2.
Its combination of a 3 kWh battery, 145 km claimed range, connected technology and large storage puts the QC3 in the mainstream urban electric scooter category.
Will Honda QC3 Come to Nepal?
Honda has not announced a Nepal launch for the QC3 yet.
For Nepali buyers, the scooter’s local availability will depend on Honda’s plans for the Nepal market and the distributor’s decision to introduce the model.
