The wheelbase could also increase from 2,500 mm to 2,650 mm, while the new model is expected to offer five seats instead of four.
The next-generation model is also reported to receive a more powerful 95 kW electric motor.
New Seagull Could Offer Up to 420 km Range
The upcoming Seagull is expected to use battery options of approximately 30 kWh and 39.2 kWh.
Reports indicate that the larger battery version could offer a claimed 420 km CLTC range, while the smaller version could deliver around 320 km.
The new model could also receive advanced driver-assistance technology, with reports pointing to an optional LiDAR sensor and BYD’s God’s Eye driver-assistance system on selected versions.
However, BYD has not yet confirmed final international specifications or Nepal availability for the next-generation model.
